    Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, August 20, 1941 The Tribune Press - Gouverneur, New York - Musician's Rites Held - Mrs. Errol Reamore Expires in Hospital Friday - Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred A. Sprague Reamore, 37, were held from the home at 1 p.m. and from First Methodist church, Gouverneur, Sunday, August 17 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Harold A. Thomas officiating. Burial was in Richland cemetery. Death came to Mrs. Reamore at Van Duzee hospital Friday morning after a long illness. Mrs. Reamore was born July 8, 1904, in Richland, the daughter of Orlo and Alida Sprague. She attended school in that section and was graduated in 1921 and from the Hawthorne School of Music in Potsdam in 1923. She was married to Earrol Reamore in Richland in 1926. Mr. Reamore was then employed by the New York Central system. In 1933 the couple moved to this village where Mr. Reamore worked for the railroad company until last May 27 when he entered the employ of the First National bank here. Mrs. Reamore was active in Methodist church work and in music circles here. She was a former secretary and treasurer of the Gouverneur Music club and choir director of the local church. She belonged to the Order of the Eastern Star. In addition, in the Methodist church she was a member of the Protheon and Operor classes, and of the Wesleyan Guild. She was a teacher in the church Sunday school and organist in the primary department. While she was confined to bed at her home, the church choir frequently met at her home for practice. She often played for other civic groups in Gouverneur. Surviving are her husband, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Orlo Sprague, Richland; two daughters, Eleanor and Marilyn, Gouverneur; a brother, Howard Sprague, Sidney; and a maternal grandfather, Eugene Wyman.
