      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, December 10, 1959 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Rites Today for Orwell Native - Last rites for Miss Violette Balch, 66, who died Sunday at her home in Buffalo, will be held at the Foster Funeral Home today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. The Rev. Robert Murphy, pastor of the Orwell Union Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery at Orwell. Her only survivors are an aunt, uncles and cousins. Miss Balch was born in Orwell April 8, 1893, and was the daughter of Charles and Cora Damon Balch. She had lived most of her life in Buffalo where she was employed by the Sylvania Company.

      Miss Violett Balch, 66, died at her home in Buffalo Sunday. She was born April 8, 1893 at Orwell, the daughter of Charles and Cora Damson Balch.
