      Newspaper Obituary - Mrs. Della Louise Pond, 61, wife of W. D. Pond, station agent for New York Central Railroad at Adams Center, died at her home in that village Sunday at 11:30 p.m. after being in poor health for several years. Mrs. Pond suffered an embolism a few weeks ago and her daughter, Mrs. Paul Benoit returned home at that time from Manitou Springs, Colorado, where Lieut. Paul Benoit is stationed with the Army Engineers Corps. Funeral services were held from the home on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m., Rev. Ray N. McCann, pastor of the Adams Center Baptist church, officiating. Burial was in Pulaski. Born in Fernwood March 29, 1882, a daughter of Ira D. Cross, she spent her early life there. She was married to Winfield D. Pond in Pulaski October 25, 1905, Rev. A. I. Ehle, officiating. They spent their married life in Pulaski until 1925 when they moved to Adams Center. Surviving are the husband, W. D. Pond, daughter Doris Benoit, two brothers, Fred Cross, of Pulaski and Jay Cross, of Syracuse and one cousin, Mrs. E. F. Fenton, of North Windfield.
