    • Caroline Leroy - November 9, 1830 - December 10, 1915. Daughter of Ralph and Rebecca Weed Price. Wife of Charles L. Leroy. Section 2, Row 14.

Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, December 15, 1915 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Daysville District ¬Mrs. Caroline Price LeRoy, 85, died Friday, December 10th. She was the last one of a family of eleven children, her father having at one time owned most of the tract of land now known as Port Ontario. About 65 years ago she married Charles LeRoy, who survives her, there is also one son, Clayton LeRoy, of this place and granddaughter Mrs. Claude Hardie of Pulaski. She was a member of the Daysville church and also of the Grange and Harmony Circle. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the family home, Rev. R. F. Thomas of Fernwood assisted by Rev. McVeigh of North Mexico Officiating. Interment at the family plot in Daysville cemetery. Thus ends the Earthly life of one of the oldest inhabitants of this place, one who has led a faithful Christian life, always trying to guide others into the light and who has been heard to say many times, "Why should we fear death when we have Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today and forever?" While she will be missed by her many friends, we must try and remember, what is our loss is her gain.
Newspaper Article - Tuesday, December 21, 1915 Oswego Daily Times - Oswego, New York - Surrogate's Court - A petition for the probate of the will of Caroline A. Leroy, late of Richland, was filed by Lamont M. Perry, named as executor. Mrs. Leroy leaves the life use of her estate valued at $5,000 real and $100 personal for the support of her husband. Upon his death the estate, except a bequest of $200, to Lesla B. Horshaw, goes to her son, Frank Clayton Leroy.

Newspaper Article - Wednesday, March 7, 1917 Oswego Daily Palladium - Oswego, New York - Gets Estate Of Mother - Special County Surrogate Page Morehouse in a decision filed by him in Surrogate's Court today disallows the claim of Frank Clayton Leroy against the estate of his mother, Caroline Leroy. Mr. Leroy, who is a resident of Richland, filed a claim for $1,200 against the estate of his mother. The decedent's estate consisted of real estate, which was sold for $1,800, and it appears from the decision of Mr. Morehouse that the claimant offered no evidence upon which to support his claim. The estate, after settlement of several small claims, which have been paid, reverted to Mr. Leroy's father, who has since died and the son will now come into the possession of the residue of the estate anyway.

December 10, 1915 - Caroline LeRoy, age 85 years, 1 month, 1 day. Date of birth November 9, 1830, born in Richland Township, New York. Sex, female; race, white; married; occupation, housekeeper. Name of father, Ralph Price, born in Richland. Name of mother unknown. Informant, Charles Leroy, Pulaski, RFD.
