Newspaper Obituary - February 26, 1920 Oswego Daily Times - Oswego, New York - Last of the Edick Boys Died at the Old Homestead Tuesday - Pulaski, February 26 - John W. Edick, 75, a prosperous and well-known fanner, died Tuesday of heart disease at his home in the southern section of the town of Richland and about five miles south of Pulaski. He had not been well for a year or more. He was born on the place adjoining the farm where he died December 29, 1845, and he had always lived there, following the work of a fanner since his early boyhood days. He was the last surviving member of a family of three boys and three girls. A brother, George H. Edick, a prominent resident of this village, died nearly a year ago. A nephew and niece of John W. Edick are residents of Pulaski. They are Grant G. Edick of North Jefferson street, and Mrs. Frank W. White of Lake street. Mr. Edick had a wide circle of friends through this section. His wife died about five years ago. The Rev. Thomas J. Williams, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal church, Fernwood, will officiate at the funeral, which will be held at the family home at 1 o'clock Friday afternoon. Burial will be in the Willis cemetery.
