      Newspaper Article - Wednesday, February 28, 1917 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Spring Brook - Mr. James Smith was taken to Ogdensburg hospital, Tuesday.

      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, March 14, 1917 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Spring Brook - Mr. James Smith, an aged resident near here, died last Wednesday morning. Funeral services held at the Church of Christ, Sunday afternoon conducted by Elder Knoell. Interment was in Richland cemetery.
