      Newspaper Obituary - Friday, April 18, 1902 Syracuse Journal - Syracuse, New York - Death of C. G. Jones - Pulaski, April 18 - Charles G. Jones, a venerable farmer residing on the Jones farm on the Salt road, about 2 miles South of this village, and [line unreadable] stroke of paralysis on Monday, died Wednesday morning. He was 74 years old and enjoying good health for one of his years previous to Monday. Besides his widow, one son, Frederick W. Jones survives him. He also leaves two brothers, George Jones, who resides in the West, and Kendall Jones of Richland. The deceased was a member of Pulaski Grange, Patrons of Husbandry, and that order will conduct the funeral, which will take place at the family home at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon.

      Newspaper Obituary - Tuesday, April 23, 1902 Syracuse Journal - Syracuse, New York - Funeral of C. G. Jones - Impressive Obsequies Held South of Pulaski - Pulaski, April 22 - The last sad rites over the remains of Charles G. Jones, whose death occurred Wednesday, were held at the family home on the Salt road, about two miles south of this village, at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon and were largely attended. The services were in charge of Pulaski Grange, Patrons of Husbandry, of which organization the deceased had been a member. The Rev. J. Foster Wilcox, pastor of the First Baptist Church of this village, officiated. During the services selections were rendered by the grange choir. The floral tributes were numerous and handsome, among them being a beautiful wreath of pink roses from the grange and pink and white carnations from Pulaski Lodge, I. O. O. F., and Rising Sun Rebekah Degree Lodge, L. O. O. F. A collection of Calla lilies were placed upon the casket which was banked with a profusion of potted plants and ferns. The pallbearers were Alva Caster, Charles Farmer, Job Lodge and George Dodge. Burial was made in the Willis cemetery near Fernwood.
