    Notes
    • Newspaper Article - Thursday, June 11, 1891 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Orwell - The event of the season is the marriage of Miss Nora Hall, only daughter of Norman and Kate Hall, to Mr. W. H. Hesketh, of Susquehanna, Pennsylvania. The marriage occurred at the residence of the bride's parents. Miss Annie Potter presided at the piano and at 9:30 o'clock a.m. the strains of the wedding march announced the approach of the wedding party. The ceremony, an impressive one, was performed by Rev. W. J. Hancock, after which the guests, about 80 in number, sat down to a beautiful repast, after which the bride and groom left on the 11:30 train for central, New York. Among the presents we noticed a beautiful silver and gold tea set, also a check for one hundred dollars, the latter a present from the bride's father, besides other rich and costly presents. The parents of the groom remained in town until the next day and in the company of Mr. and Mrs. Hall, A. J. and Alex. Potter, and others, they enjoyed a drive to Salmon River falls and through the surrounding country, after which they returned to their home in Susquehanna.
