    • Newspaper Obituary - January 30, 2002 Syracuse Post Standard - Syracuse, New York - ALBERT S. MATTISON - Albert S. Mattison, 83, of 936 county Route 52, Orwell, died Sunday at Jewish Home of Central New York. Born in Altmar, he graduated from Pulaski High School. He retired in 1995 after 60 years as owner and operator of a dairy farm. He also owned a farm implement company in Orwell for several years. He was a member of Pulaski Historical Society, St. James Episcopal Church and Pulaski Grange. His wife, the former Doris Ackley, died in 1993. Survivors: A daughter, Nancy Mattison of Princeton, N.J.; a son, Richard of Altmar; a sister, Frances Hoenow of Pulaski; a brother, Samuel O. of Altmar; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Services: 10 a.m. Friday in St. James Episcopal Church. Spring burial, Evergreen Cemetery. Calling hours, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park St., Pulaski. Contributions: Doris Ackley Mattison Scholarship Fund at Keuka College, Keuka Park 14478.
