    • Newspaper Obituary - August 4, 1960 Enterprise & News - St Johnsville, New York - Mrs. M. Lamphere Dies At Starkville - Mrs. Maude Lamphere, widow of Lloyd Lamphere, died July 31 in the home of her brother, William Lee, in Starkville, with whom she had spent the past four weeks. She resided at RD 1, Fort Plain, and had been in ill health for a long time. Mrs. Lamphere was born in Utica, a daughter of Fred and Sarah Fox Keeler. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Edna Glarrusso, Van Nuys, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Malsan, East Herkimer; Mrs. John Herkel, Little Falls, and Mrs. George Van Buren, Van Nuys, Calif.; one brother, William Lee, Starkville; several nieces and nephews. The funeral was held Tuesday at the convienance of the family, with the Rev. Albert B. Hotchkiss, Fort Plain, a retired clergyman, officiating. Burial was in Forest Hill Cemetery, Utica.
