    • Newspaper Obituary - February 13, 1969 Mexico Independant - Thomas William Davis, 66, of Plainville Road, North Lysander, died suddenly Thursday at Auburn Memorial Hospital. He was a machinist and tool maker and had been employed at the Osborne Tool Works at Fulton. He was a native of Canada and had resided in Watertown prior to coming to North Lysander. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Joan Carter of Charlotteville, VA; a son, Thomas S. Davis of Ilion; five grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Frances Sandle of Watertown and serveral nieces and nephews. Funeral services Sunday at 2pm in the Allanson-Glandville-Tappan Funeral Home in Lysander with Rev. George Roof, pastor of the Lysander Methodist Church officiating. Interment in Richland Cemetery in the spring.

He was a machinist and tool maker and had been employed at the Osborne Tool Works in Fulton. He was a native of Canada and had resided in Watertown before coming to North Lysander. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Joan Carter, of Charlottesville, Virginia, a son, Thomas S. Davis of Ilion, five grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Francis Sandle of Watertown and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Allanson-Glenville, Tappan Funeral Home, Lysander, the Rev. George Roof, pastor of the Lysander Methodist Church, officiating. Spring burial will be in Richland Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
