    • Newspaper Article - Thursday, January 29, 1885 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Away on Their Wedding Trip - A goodly company of invited guests assembled at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Austin, on Tuesday afternoon if the present week. The happy occasion was the marriage of Mr. Austin's eldest daughter with Mr. L. J. Macy, well-known as one of the hardware merchants of this place, a prosperous, energetic young man, and one who has made his own way in the world by hard work and close attention to business. The ceremony was performed by Rev. C. W. Brooks, pastor of the M. E. Church. An elegant repast was served and the occasion was one of real enjoyment to those present. The newly wedded couple took the evening train for the East and will visit Albany before their return. Among the numerous presents were the following: White sewing machine, parents of the bride; two gold and two silver statuettes, very elegant, Michigan Stove Company; photo album, Lizzie and Fred Austin; cut glass water set, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Austin and Miss C. O. Bumpus; cake basket, Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Macy; set tea spoons, Lillie Fillmore; butter knife, Lena Nichols; silver berry spoon, Dr. and Mrs. Towsley; pair napkin rings, Mr. and Mrs. F. G.
