He was born in Watertown, son of the late Robert and Venita Skinner Wilder. He was a member of St. James Episcopal Church of Pulaski, where he was senior warden and Lay leader. He was the former owner and operator of Clearview Home and Leisure of Oswego. Larry enjoyed spending time fishing and hunting at his camp in Tupper Lake. Surviving are his wife of 44 years, the former Ann M. Vandish Wilder; four sons, Patrick T. Wilder, Oswego, Richard A. Wilder, Pulaski, Brian C. Wilder, Sandy Creek, Robert E. "Ted" Wilder, Palermo; two grandchildren, Collin Wilder, Kelsey Wilder; two brothers, James Wilder, Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Joseph Wilder, Rochester; three sisters, Valerie Hellinger, New Hampshire, Joan Spink, Pulaski; twin sister, Linda Wilder, Syracuse. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 25, 2011, from 2 to 7 p.m. at Larry's son, Patrick Wilder's home at 95 Regan Drive, Oswego, New York. "Bob' Wilder, 78, Route 11 North, a retired dairy farmer and cattle dealer, died Friday evening at his home, where he was under the care of Oswego County Hospice. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Summerville Funeral Home, Sandy Creek, with Rev. Catherine Salisbury, associate pastor of Park United Methodist Church, officiating. He was an avid fisherman and hunter.

    Newspaper Article - Tuesday Evening April 6, 1909 Oswego Daily Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski April 6 - A team of horses owned by Thomas Wilder and driven by Bert Coon ran away yesterday afternoon and Coon was dragged along the roadway for several feet. No bones were broken but the man's body and face were painfully bruised. The wagon was not damaged.

Wilder, 84, lifetime resident of this area, died suddenly at his home on Route 11 north of the village yesterday morning. It was believed that he suffered a coronary thrombosis. Mr. Wilder was born May 18, 1874, in the Town of Sandy Creek, the son of Charles and Cora Minot Wilder. He engaged in farming all his life and had operated the farm he lived on for the past 51 years. His wife, the former Bertha Coon, died in August 1945. He is survived by four daughters: Mrs. Clifford Montondo and Mrs. Jack Thomas, Pulaski; Miss Geraldine Wilder, Schenectady; and Mrs. Helen Grinnell, Maro Bay, California; five sons: John, Thomas, C. D., Robert and Lemuel, all of Pulaski; a half-sister, Mrs. Cora Miner, Pulaski; 19 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Foster funeral home with the Rev. Mrs. Wilder was born September 14, 1883, in the town of Albion, daughter of the late William and Ellen Anderson Coon. She had lived in this vicinity all her life. For many years she had been a member of the Pulaski Grange.     Born Feb. 11, 1902, in Camden, son of Charles and Jennie Brown Skinner, he resided most of his life in the Pulaski area. He retired in 1970 as a superintendent on construction projects after a 50-year career.
    He married Colette V. Wilbur in 1920.
    Mr. Skinner was a member of Pulaski Lodge 415, F&AM, and a 50-year member of Local 12, Carpenters Union. He was also a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows.

    Colette V. Skinner, 90, formerly of Springbrook Apartments, died Sunday at Loretto Heights Nursing Home, Oswego, where she had been a resident since Aug. 7, 1987.

    The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Summerville Funeral Home, Sandy Creek, with the Rev. Robert Diamond, pastor of Grace Christian Center, Chittenango, officiating. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery.

    There will be no calling hours. Donations may be made to the Pulaski Community Food Pantry.

    Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Venita) Wilder, Pulaski, and Mrs. Sanford (Marion) Isham, Central Square; a son, Charles, Manlius; 21 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren, and 32 great-great-grandchildren.

    A daughter, Mrs. William (Shirley) Isham, died in 1986.

    Born March 25, 1904, in Watertown, a daughter of Nate and Ethel Hewlett Wilbur, she graduated from Pulaski High School and Central City Business Institute, Syracuse.

    She married Lawrence C. Skinner Aug. 18, 1920, in Syracuse. They lived in Syracuse and Pulaski all their married life. Mr. Skinner died Aug. 20, 1991.

    Mrs. Skinner was a retired credit manager for Atlantic Refining Co., Syracuse.

    A former member of the Pulaski Congregational Church, she was a 50-year member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a charter member of the Old Tyme Fiddlers Association.

Ledyard, 74, occurred yesterday, following a short illness. She was born May 16, 1852, in the town of Albion and later came to this village where she passed practically all her life. She was a member of Pulaski Grange 730 Patrons of Husbandry. Surviving are three sons, Thomas Wilder, Sandy Creek, William M. Wilder and Charles D. Wilder of Pulaski, and a daughter, Mrs. Raymond W. Miner, who with her husband, lives at the Ledyard home on the Rome Road. Funeral services will be conducted at the home tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock by the Rev. E. H. Scott, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal Church. Burial will be made at Pulaski cemetery.

    Cause of Death: Valvular heart disease associated with hypertrophy and dilation.

    Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, May 3, 1905 Pulaski Democrat - Mrs. William D. Coon - Mrs. William D. Coon died at her home on Bridge street, aged 42 years, after a long period of suffering from cancer. By her death the family are deprived of the care of a kind and loving wife and mother. Besides the husband she is survived by four daughters; Mrs. Bertha Miller, Misses Florence E, Ivy B. and Frances J. Coon, and two sons, Bert L. and W. Harrison Coon, all of whom reside in this village. The family have sincere sympathy of all in their affliction. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon at two o'clock, at the home, the Rev. C. H.
