    Newspaper Obituary - Monday August 6, 1945 Oswego Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski - Mrs. Bertha Wilder, 61, wife of Thomas Wilder, died Sunday night at her home on the Watertown Road, three miles north of Pulaski, following a long illness. Mrs. Wilder was born September 14, 1883, in the town of Albion, daughter of the late William and Ellen Anderson Coon. She had lived in this vicinity all her life. For many years she had been a member of the Pulaski Grange. Surviving besides her husband are four daughters: Mrs. Clifford Montondo, Mrs. Harold Grinnell, Mrs. Jack Thomas, and Miss Geraldine Wilder; five sons: John, Robert, Thomas, and Lemuel Wilder, all of Pulaski, and Charles Wilder with the United States Army in Russia; 16 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Harold Phillips, Utica and Mrs. William Corrigan, Auburn; two brothers, Harrison Coon, Manlius and Bert Coon, Pulaski. Funeral services will be at the home Wednesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. James N. Pauley, minister of Pulaski Methodist church, officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Sandy Creek.

    Newspaper Obituary - July 6, 1921 Pulaski Democrat - William D. Coon - William D. Coon was born at Battle Creek, Mich., June 8, 1856. He came to Orwell when a small boy and has lived in this vicinity since. He died in this village, June 25th, 1921. Mr. Coon had been in the employ of the Pulaski Gas & Oil Co., for several years. His funeral was held from the home of his daughter, Mrs. Raymond Filkins, Tuesday, June 28, at half past two, Rev. C. T. Holcombe officiating. Burial at Pulaski. He is survived by four daughters and two sons.

    Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, May 3, 1905 Pulaski Democrat - Mrs. William D. Coon - Mrs. William D. Coon died at her home on Bridge street, aged 42 years, after a long period of suffering from cancer. By her death the family are deprived of the care of a kind and loving wife and mother. Besides the husband she is survived by four daughters; Mrs. Bertha Miller, Misses Florence E, Ivy B. and Frances J. Coon, and two sons, Bert L. and W. Harrison Coon, all of whom reside in this village. The family have sincere sympathy of all in their affliction. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon at two o'clock, at the home, the Rev. C. H. Guffle officiating. Among the floral tributes was a bunch of carnations from the pupils of Miss Elizabeth Jone's room.

    Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, March 28, 1906 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - David Coon - Last Friday evening, while attending a social at the Engine house, given by the I. O. G. T., David Coon, aged 71 years, died very suddenly of heart disease from which he had been a sufferer several years. Coroner Hollis, of Sandy Creek, was summoned Saturday morning, but deemed an inquest unnecessary. Besides his widow deceased is survived by a son, William D. Coon, of this village, and a daughter, Mrs. Charles Snow, of Orwell. Mr. Coon was a veteran of the Civil War and a member of J. B. Butler Post; also of Pulaski Lodge, I. O. G. T., and Lake Ontario Association, P. of I. The funeral was held yesterday at 1:30 o'clock at the Congregational church, Rev. J. B. Felt officiating. Mrs. F. A. Clark and Miss Maude Guile sand two selections, Miss Emma Fuller accompanying. Friends from Richland and Oswego were in attendance also the G. A. R. Post and the I. O. G. T., of which Mr. Coon was a member, also members of the W. R. C. The casket was draped with the Stars & Stripes and covered with a beautiful flowers. Burial at Richland.

Mrs. Coon was a former member of the Richland Methodist Church. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Orla Sprague of Richland and Mrs. Howard (Helen) Pulver of Vestal; one niece and one nephew. Funeral services were Saturday, August 23 at the Foster Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Pennock of Christ Church Parish officiating. Burial was in Richland Cemetery.

Her funeral was held Saturday at the Disciple Church, Rev. Stevens officiating. She was the mother of Mrs. Herbert McClara, of this place.

    Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, January 13, 1897 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Vorea - Mrs. David Coon died December 24, at the residence of her son, William Coon, in Vorea. The funeral was held at Richland, in the Church of Christ, Elder Stevens was the officiating clergyman. She was a great sufferer and welcomed death as a release. She leaves a husband and three children, all married. We extend our sympathy to them in their trouble.

    Newspaper Obituary - February 6, 1919 Sandy Creek News - Eben Sanderson passed away at the home of his son, James Sanderson, in Pulaski on Saturday at the age of 79 years. He had been of usual good health and spent the early winter with his daughter, Mrs. Charles Fuller in Boylston, where he resided for many years. Mr.Sanderson was a native of Scriba and had been a resident of the town of Richland for many years where he followed the occupation of farming. He is survived by six sons and two daughters, Mrs. Charles Fuller, Boylston, and Mrs. William V. Whiteford, Frank, David, Harrison, and James of Pulaski, William Sanderson of Syracuse, and Burton Sanderson, A.E.F. France. Funeral services were conducted from the home of his son James in Pulaski, by Rev. Charles T. Holcomb, pastor of M.E. church. Interment in the Riverside cemetery

    Newspaper Obituary - February 4, 1919 Oswego Daily Times - FUNERAL OF EBEN SANDERSON - Pulaski, Feb. 4.-The Rev. Charles T. Holcombe, pastor of the First M. E. church, officiated at the funeral of Eben Sanderson, 79, held today at the residence of James Sanderson in the western section of this town. Interment was made in the Riverside cemetery, Mr. Sanderson was a native of Scriba, in the western end of Oswego county, and had been a resident of the town of Richland for many years, following farming for a long time. He is survived by six sons and two daughters, David Sanderson, James Sanderson, Frank Sanderson and Harrison Sanderson, all of this town; William Sanderson, Syracuse; Burton Sanderson, now in France with the American Expeditionary Force; Mrs. William V. Whitford of the Jefferson street road and Mrs. Charles Fuller of Boylston.

    Newspaper Obituary - February 19, 1914 Sandy Creek News - Mrs. Eben Sanderson - Mrs. Eben Sanderson passed away Thursday morning, February 12, at the residence of her son Frank E. Sanderson, Lehigh district, south of Pulaski, where she had made her home for some time. She had been ill six weeks. Mrs. Sanderson was born in Scriba, 74 years ago and had always been a resident of Oswego county. Surviving besides her husband are six sons and two daughters, John D. Sanderson, Port road; David H. Sanderson, and Harrison A. Sanderson, Pulaski; Willard E. Sanderson, Syracuse, Frank E. Sandersonand Burton B. Sanderson, Lehigh district; Mrs. William V. Whitford, Pulaski and Mrs. Charles A. Fuller, Boylston. The funeral was held from the Sanderson home at one o'clock Friday afternoon. For many years the Sandersons were residents of Boylston and later of Sandy Creek.
