    Pulaski Oct 14 - William J. Johnson, 52 one of Pulaski's well-known business men died yesterday following an illness of about five weeks although his health had been poor for a long time. Born in Boyleston he had conducted stores at Lacona and this village for many years He was a member of the Odd Fellows, who will conduct his funeral at his home 70 Salina Stree at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. the Rev. William MacLeon will officiate.

    Surviving, besides his widow, are three sons and six daughters. Albert Johnson of Spencerport, Henry Johnson of Syracuse, Donald Johnson of Pulaski, Mrs. Reta Knowlton and Mrs. Rowland Alger of Syracuse, Mrs. Henry Martinet, Miss Doris Johnson, Miss Loleta Johnson and Miss Dona Johnson all of Pulaski.

    He is also survived by two brothers, Everett Johnson and James Johnson, both of Lacona, and four grandchildren, Walter Lee, Elwood, Ruth Leeta and Elma Johnson.

    Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, February 12, 1953 Sandy Creek News - Sandy Creek, New York - Mrs. F. C. Cross Dies in Pulaski ¬Following a long illness, Mrs. Hannah D. Cross, 79, widow of Fred F. Cross, died at the Williams Nursing home, in Pulaski Monday night, February 2, 1953. She was born in the town of Worth July 22, 1879, daughter of Albert and Delilah Brown Gardner. She was married March 4, 1901, to William Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson came to Pulaski and conducted a grocery store in Salina Street, until his death October 13, 1922. Later she married Mr. Cross who died in January, 1947. She was a member of the Pulaski Methodist Church. She has 53 direct survivors, including one son, Donald Johnson, Fulton; six daughters, Mrs. Rita Wheelock, Cicero; Mrs. Ethel Martinet, Watertown; Mrs. Hazel Alger, North Syracuse; Mrs. Doris Hutt, Whitesboro; Mrs. Loletta Davey, Altmar; Mrs. Dona Davies, Pulaski; 18 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Foster funeral home, Pulaski, February 5. Services were conducted by Rev. James N. Pauley, pastor of Methodist Church, and I burial will be in Willis cemetery.

    Newspaper Obituary - September 16, 1908 Pulaski Democrat - Meacham District: At his home in this district, Thursday afternoon, September 8, Charles F. Reynolds passed away after an illness of a few months. He died on the old farm and in the room where he was born. Mr. Reynolds was a son of the late Chauncey and Polly Reynolds. His father died seventeen years ago and his mother died last December. About thirty-two years ago he was married to Miss Flora Wilcox of this district, who, survives together with five daughters, Mrs. Charles Morrison, of Pulaski; Mrs. Ed. Kilburn of Richland; Mrs. Arthur Greenwood, Misses Iva and Grace, and two sons, Chauncey and Orla, the later five residing at home; also by two sisters, Mrs. M.B. Lighthall of near Richland, and Mrs. William Potter of Pulaski. Mr. Reynolds was fifty-two years and five months old. The funeral was held at the family home, September 10, and was largely attended, Rev. M.H.Dowd of Orwell officiating. The floral tributes were numerous and handsome. The bearers were his four nephews, Frank Potter, Ernest Potter, Elton Lighthall and Ed Minot. Burial was made at the Pulaski cemetery. Mr Reynolds was a member of the South Richland Grange. He was a kind husband and a good father.

    Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, November 12, 1891 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Died - In Richland, New York, November 3, 1891, Chauncey Reynolds, aged 76 years, 4 months and 12 days. He was born in Rupert, Vermont, June 22, 1815. In 1825 he came to this state, and January 1, 1839, at Sandy Creek, was married to Miss Polly A. White, of Sandy Creek, and went to housekeeping on the same farm on which he was living at the time of his death, living there 52 years. To them were born five children, Milo and Milton died in infancy. Those living are Mrs. W. H. Potter, of Pulaski, Mrs. M. B. Lighthall, of Richland, and Charles F., who has always lived on the homestead with his parents. In 1882 he united with the Methodist Protestant church, of which he was a member at the time of his death. He was an honest, upright man, a kind husband and father, and a good neighbor. His funeral was largely attended at his late residence. The services were conducted by Rev. Wellington Snyder, who was his pastor some eight years ago, interment at Pulaski cemetery.

She was born in the town of Sandy Creek, August 30, 1819, and was married to Chauncey Reynolds in 1839. To them were born five children, three of whom survive her, Mrs. William Potter and Mrs. M. B.
