    Online Obituary - Alan P. Sanderson - Alan P. Sanderson, 69, of 8117 State Route 3, Pulaski, died Sunday, March 26, at University Hospital, Syracuse. He was a construction worker employed out of Local 14 in Oswego, retiring in 1992. Born June 6, 1936, in Victory, son of Roy and Florence Jones Sanderson, he lived in Palermo and Mexico. He married Diane E. Babcock on April 13, 1968, in Mexico. The couple moved to Pulaski in 1987.Surviving besides his wife are two daughters, Cynthia Sanderson of Oswego and Susan Thomson of Redfield; a son, Timothy Sanderson of Oswego; a brother, Steve Sanderson of California; seven grandchildren. A daughter, Sandra Donahue died in 2002. The family will have a private celebration of his life at a later date. Arangements by Summerville Funeral Home, Sandy Creek.

    Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, October 29, 1953 Mexico Independant - Services Held Monday For Roy E. Sanderson - Roy E. Sanderson, 64, of Texas, well known resident of the towns of Richland and Mexico throughout his entire life, was found dead in bed at the home of his sister, Mrs. Mary Moore in Adams, Friday morning. He had been in apparently good health and had come there from his home near Texas Thursday to go with Mrs. Moore to visit a brother, Clarence (Connie) Sanderson, former member of Co. B. , State Police, now in business in Malone. Mr. Sanderson was born in the town of Richland, May 21, 1889, son of Harrison and Laura Shepard Sanderson. He had always lived in the vicinity of Pulaski engaging largely in painting and shop work in Syracuse and Oswego, where he worked in the Soy Bean plant until a few years ago when he moved to the Texas area. His wife, Mrs. Florence Jones Sanderson, a member of the Mexico Central School faculty, died only six week ago. Besides his brother and sister mentioned, he is survived by another sister, Mrs. Dorcas Leonard, Florida; six children, Mrs. Helen Neu, South Onondaga, Mrs. Hazel West, Albuquerque, N.M., Edward T. Sanderson, Oswego RD.; Stephen H. Sanderson, U.S. Marines, Lakehurst, N.J. Mrs. Lola H. Hogarth and Alan P. Sanderson, Texas. Funeral services were held from the Mexico Methodist Church Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Clyde Sparling, pastor of the church officiating. Burial was in Pulaski Cemetery. Bearers were Frank Sanderson, Lynn Sanderson, James Sanderson, Edward Sanderson, Stephen H. Sanderson, and Alan Paul Sanderson.

    Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, September 10, 1952 Pulaski Democrat - Mrs. R. Sanderson Dies at Texas - Funeral services for Mrs. Florence Jones Sanderson, 60, wife of Roy Sanderson, who died at her home in Texas, Sunday evening, were conducted from the Methodist Church in Mexico, Wednesday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Elwin Williams, pastor of the church. Interment was made in Pulaski Cemetery. Mrs. Sanderson had been ill several weeks. Surviving besides her husband are three sons, Steven Sanderson of the U. S. Marine Corps, stationed at the Lakehurst Air Base, N.J., Alan Sanderson of Texas and Ted Sanderson of Oswego; three daughters, Mrs. William Hogarth of Texas, Mrs. Helen New of Lafayette, and Mrs. Hazel West of Albuquerque, N. M.; and nine grandchildren. Mrs. Sanderson was born in Minetto, Aug. 18, 1893, daughter of Hollister and Harriet Wart Jones, and came to Pulaski when a child. She was a graduate of Pulaski Academy and training class and of the old Oswego State Normal School. She taught 12 years in the grade classes at Pulaski Academy and later in the Mexico Central School until last June.

    Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, May 10, 1945 Pulaski Democrat - Harrison Sanderson Funeral Tuesday - Harrison Andrew Sanderson, 81, for many years connected with local feed mills until his retirement a few years ago, died Saturday night at his home, corner of North street and Lincoln avenue. He had been in failing health for some time. Mr. Sanderson was born in New Haven, Oct. 9, 1863, the son of Eben and Eliza Howard Sanderson, but had made his home for many years in Pulaski and vicinity. He was a member of Pulaski Lodge, 648, I. O. O. F. Surviving are his wife, Belle Sanderson; two sons, Roy Sanderson, Plainville, and Clarence Sanderson, Malone; two daughters, Mrs. H. T. Leonard, St. Petersburg, Fla., and Mrs Ray Moore, Adams; four brothers, Burt and William, Syracuse, David, Pulaski, and Frank Sanderson, Mexico. Funeral services were held at his home Tuesday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. W. A. Gardner. Burial in Rural cemetery, Adams.

Sanderson, 78, Victim of Sudden Heart Attack - Pulaski, Feb. 27 - Mrs. Belle Sheppard Sanderson, 78, widow of Harrison Sanderson of this village, died suddenly Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Moore, at St. Petersburg, Fla., of a heart attack. Mrs. Sanderson left her home in North Street here, last fall to spend the winter with her daughter in Florida. Funeral services will be held from the Foster funeral home in Park street, Tuesday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Merlo O. Brown, pastor of the Mexico Methodist church officiating. Burial will be in Adams cemetery. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Moore with whom she was residing at the time of her death and Mrs. Dorcas Leonard, also of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two sons, Roy Sanderson of Texas, N.Y. and Clarence Sanderson of Malone; and one brother, Lee Sheppard, of Corry, Pa; nine grand children and four great grandchildren. Mrs. Sanderson was born in Picton, Ont., Jan 8, 1872, the daughter of Tobias and Mary Collier Sheppard. She came to the United States with her parents at the age of seven years, and resided in Orwell in her youth. In August, 1890, she was married to Harrison Sanderson and since that time had resided in Pulaski and vicinity. She was a member of Rising Sun Rebekah lodge of Pulaski.

    Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, December 21, 1904 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Harriet N. Jones - Harriet N., wife of Hollister Jones, died suddenly about one o'clock Wednesday morning at her home on the Wallace farm, which is situated on the Mexico road. Mrs. Jones had been in feeble health for some time, but was about the house Sunday. She was about thirty-nine years old and besides her husband leaves three children, two daughters and a son. Mrs. Jones was a member of the Pulaski Baptist Church and also a member of the Rebekah Degree Lodge of Odd Fellows of Oswego. A brother, Edward Wart, resides in Oswego, where at one time with her family she resided. Two sisters, Mrs. Almon Jones, of Minetto and Mrs. Stanley Porter, of Springfield, Pennsylvania, also survive. Funeral services were held at the family home at 9 o'clock Friday morning and the body was taken to New Haven for burial.
