    Dorothy P. Cronk, 81, Altmar, a native of Orwell, died Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse.

    The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski. Spring burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Altmar.

    Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

    Surviving are seven sons, Warren C., Bert L. and Steven M., all of Altmar, Kenneth E., Orwell, Darwin L., Bridgeport, Terry L., Central Square, and James O., Mallory; a brother, Raymond Colvin, East Syracuse; a sister, Doris Cole, Altmar, 41 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

    She was born June 21, 1912, in Orwell, a daughter of Warren and Mary Coon Colvin. She attended Orwell schools.

    She married Kenneth Cronk April 11, 1934. He died in 1974. Mrs. Cronk had lived in Altmar for the past 60 years.

    She was a member of the Altmar Riverside Methodist Church.

    Dorothy P. Cronk, 81, of Route 13, died Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital.

    She was born in Orwell and lived in Altmar for the past 60 years.

    She was a member of the Altmar Riverside Methodist Church.

    Her husband Kenneth, died in 1974.

    Surviving are seven sons, Warren C., Bert L. and Steve M., all of Altmar, Kenneth E. of Orwell, Darwin L. of Bridgeport, Terry L. of Central Square, and James O. of Mallory; two daughters, Mary Gaffey of Altmar, and Evelyn Hoyt of Mallory; a brother, Raymond Colvin of East Syracuse; a sister, Doris Cole of Altmar; 41 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

    Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski. Spring burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

    Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, February 20, 1947 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Funeral services for H. Warren Colvin, 76, were held at his home on the Hogsback Road, Orwell, at 2 p. m. Wednesday by Rev. Robert Grant of the Altmar Methodist Church. Burial was in Riverside cemetery, Altmar. Mr. Colvin died at his home Saturday evening after a long illness. He was born on April 27, 1870, the son of Levi and Mary Edwards Colvin, members of pioneer families. He had been a farmer in the vicinity of Sandy Creek all his life, having lived for the past 48 years on the Colvin homestead. He married Mary Coon on Nov. 26, 1890. Surviving besides his wife are a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Cronk, Altmar; four sons, Frank, Orwell; Burt L. Lee F. and Raymond Colvin, East Syracuse; a sister, Mrs. Ora Williams, Nattawanakeag [sic], Maine; two brothers, Arthur, Pulaski, and Bitia [sic], Newcastle, Pa.; 21 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

    Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, June 20, 1968 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Widow Of Wm Olin Dies Sunday Eve - Mary Olin, 92, of Altmar, died Sunday evening, June 16 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Cronk of Altmar. She was born September 29, 1875 in Sandy Creek, the daughter of George and Nancy Reese Coon. Educated in Sandy Creek schools, she was married on November 26, 1890 to H. Warren Colvin, who died in 1947. She was married on May 25, 1948 to William Olin, whose death occurred on August 2, 1962. The Olins' operated a farm on the Hogsback Rd., until four years ago when she moved to her daughter's home in Altmar. Mrs. Olin is survived by three sons, Lee F. Colvin of Vero Beach, Fla., Raymond B. and Frank E. Colvin, both of Syracuse; a daughter Mrs. Kenneth (Dorothy), Cronk of Altmar; 25 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren, five great great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She also has two step-sons, Glen Olin of Richland and Vernon Olin of Lawtey Fla.; two step-daughters, Mrs. Frank (Alice)Sampson and Mrs. Lewis (Laura) Ansen of Williamstown. She was a member of the Altmar Methodist Church. Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 19 at the home of Mrs. Olin's granddaughter, Mrs. George Cole, Dugway, with the Rev. Harold Pennock of Christ Church Parish officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Altmar.

    George F. Coon, one of the best known farmers in Oswego Town, died at his home in South West Oswego last night after a lingering illness of many years. The deceased was born in Geddes, Onondaga county, fifty-eight years ago and moved with his family to Oswego county about forty years ago.

    Besides his widow he is survived by one son, John Coon, of Oswego Town, and a daughter, Mrs. Mary Colvin, of Altam. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at the family home
    at 2:oo o'clock. Burial will be made at Bundyville cemetery.

Mrs. Edwards’ maiden name was Eliza Dingman. She was united in marriage to Chauncey Edwards, September 18, 1840, and to them were born seven children, two of them only are living, Mrs. Colvin and Mrs. Joel Stacy. Mr. Edwards is now past ninety-three and both of these were the people are still enjoying as fair health as one could expect at their age. Mrs. Colvin served a bountiful repast.
