- February 15, 2012 Ronald O. Mowers, 86, life resident of Pulaski, passed away Wednesday at St. Luke's Nursing Home in Oswego. Ronald was born December 4, 1925, in Altmar. He attended Pulaski schools and served in the United States Navy during WWII. Ronald married Florence E. Frank on October 4, 1947; she died January 16, 2002. Ronald was employed by GE in Syracuse for 35 years, retiring in 1986. He was an avid reader, and he enjoyed traveling, particularly in Maine. Ronald also enjoyed hunting, fishing and especially spending time with his son. Surviving are one son, Kim E. Mowers, and his companion, Susan Grady of Rowayton, CT; Ronald's companion, Roberta Merritt of Mexico; one brother, Joseph Mowers of California; one sister, Leda Beh of Ontario, NY; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Daysville Cemetery, Pulaski. Arrangements by Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park St., Pulaski.
