Linda S. Braley, 54, County Route 62, died Tuesday at her home. She had been ill with cancer.
Mrs. Braley had worked at Schoeller Technical Papers and the Nice N Easy convenience store, both in Pulaski, and the Braley Adult Home in Altmar.
Born May 7, 1952, in Cheyenne, Wyo., daughter of Ward and Ruth Adams Sampson, she graduated from Pulaski Academy and Central School in 1970.
She married Marty Braley on Oct. 26, 1996. A previous marriage ended in divorce.
She enjoyed camping and was an avid bingo player.
Surviving besides her husband are three sons, William Wood, Paul Wood and Joseph Wood, all of Pulaski; a stepdaughter, Dawn Militti, West Monroe; two stepsons, Scott Braley, Sandy Creek, and Stephen Braley, Las Vegas, Nev.; a brother, Michael Sampson, Rome; a sister, Nancy Davidson, Mexico, and seven grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Linda S. Braley, age 54, of County Route 62, Pulaski, died Tuesday at her home. Born on May 7, 1952, in Cheyenne, WY, she was the daughter of Ward and Ruth Adams Sampson. She was a life resident of Pulaski and graduated from Pulaski High School in 1970. She married Marty Braley on October 26, 1996. She was previously employed by Schoeller Paper and Nice & Easy Convenience Store, both in Pulaski, and Braley Adult Home in Altmar. Linda enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, camping, and was an avid bingo player.
Surviving: her husband, Marty; three sons, William Wood, Paul Wood and Joseph Wood, all of Pulaski; one stepdaughter, Dawn Militti of West Monroe; two stepsons, Scott Braley of Sandy Creek, Stephen Braley of Las Vegas; one brother, Michael Sampson of Rome; one sister, Nancy Davidson of Mexico; seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski, with burial in Pulaski Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
