    Notes
    • Newspaper Article - Thursday, May 10, 1888 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Vorea - Married, April 25th, Mr. G. N. Hilton and Miss Maud Crocker, both of this place. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Chase of Boylston, and took place at the home of the bride. Mr. F. Babcock was best man and Miss Celia Crocker was bridesmaid. The groom and bride both looked very neatly. The supper was very nice. We received a box of cake made by the fair hands of the bride that gave evidence of her skill in that art. Mrs. G. O. Olmstead, Mr. and Mrs. J. Stevens, Mr. and Mrs. McKenna, of Orwell, and Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Lyon and Mrs. J. H. Wart of North Boylston were present besides a number of others who reside near here. Mr. and Mrs. Orville Stowell of Sandy Creek were also present, the guests numbered about forty. The young couple are both steady, industrious and members of our best families. We wish them much happiness. "Happy is the bride the sun shine on," is said, and it was a lovely day. Johnnie Stowell gave them a swami of bees. He evidently meant their "honeymoon" to last a good while. Their presents were nice. Mr. and Mrs. Crocker gave them a cow.
