Della B. Mahaffy, 93, of 7562 Maple Ave., a lifelong resident of Pulaski, died Friday at the Samaritan-Keep Home, Watertown.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home with the Rev. Elizabeth Mowry, pastor of Park United Methodist Church, officiating. Spring burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Park United Methodist Church or the Samaritan-Keep Home.
Surviving are four sons, Yates B., Orwell, William C., Liverpool, and Paul M. and Willard M., both of Pulaski; a daughter, Barbara A. Wilder, San Luis Obispo, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Born on July 9, 1900, in Pulaski, a daughter of Delbert and Clara Myers Babcock, she attended Pulaski schools and married Yates Mahaffy on Nov. 15, 1922. Mr. Mahaffy died on July 11, 1958.
Mrs. Mahaffy was a member of the Alpha Class and an 80-year member of Park United Methodist Church. She also was a member of the Daughters of Union Veterans and the Pulaski Women's Civic Club.
