      Glen H. McDougal, 70, of Smartville Road died Wednesday at his home.

      Mr. McDougal was a life resident of the Lacona area. From 1949 to 1965 he owned the Clover Farms Store. He also operated a snowmobile business.

      Mr. McDougal was highway superintendent for the town of Boyleston from 1975 to 1983 and was a retired Lacona fireman.

      He was a life member of Sandy Creek Beagle Club, a charter member of Beach Creek Hunting Club and a member of Sandy Creek Lodge 564, F&AM. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

      Surviving are his wife, the former Gladys VanEpps; a son, Wayne of Lacona; two daughters, Barbara Reid of Lacona and Glenda Haynes of Mannsville; three brothers, Donald of Lacona, Henry of Rushville and Floyd of Sandy Creek; eight sisters, Mildred Oliphant of Auburn, Irene Noaks, Dona VanBrocklin and Joanne Hatz, all of Sandy Creek, Ora Marsella of Ithaca, Janet Piepenbrok of Missouri, Iva Parrott of Virginia and Mabel Shelmidine of Mannsville; 12 grandchildren, a great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

      Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Sandy Creek United Methodist Church, the Rev. Janet Gibbs officiating. Burial will be in Wesleyan Cemetery.

      Calling hours will be 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at Summerville Funeral Home, 8192 Harwood Drive, Sandy Creek.

      Contributions may be made to the North Oswego County Ambulance, Pulaski.
