      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, March 14, 1912 Oswego Palladium - Oswego, New York - Walter Gaylord West - Young Son of A. E. West Formerly of Oswego Died in Rome Yesterday - Many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Addison E. West, formerly of this city, will be pained to learn of the death of their son, Walter Gaylord West, which occurred at the family home in Rome yesterday. He had been ill for about a week with pneumonia. He was born in this city May 18th, 1896 [sic], and resided here until December, 1910, when his parents moved to Rome. He was a member of the Liberty street M. E. church and Sunday school in Rome and was a favorite with his companions. Besides his parents he leaves one sister, Edna M., of Rome. The funeral will be held tomorrow. When residents of Oswego the West’s lived at 103 West Eighth street.
      Newspaper Article - Wednesday, May 8, 1912 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Orwell - The remains of Walter West who died in Rome, March 13, aged 15 years, were brought to Evergreen cemetery for burial, Saturday. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Addison West, and sister, Miss Edna West.
