- Christina Landers, 94, Pulaski, died Tuesday at Upstate Medical University, Syracuse.
She was a cook for Walker's Restaurant in Port Ontario for a time. She was also employed at General Electric Co. in Syracuse and was a domestic worker in Pulaski.
Born March 9, 1912, in Altmar, daughter of George and Myrtle Waite Mowers, she attended school in Altmar.
She married Harry F. Landers on Sept. 15, 1931. Mr. Landers died in 1991. She had also lived in Massena and Homer.
Surviving are a daughter, Myrtle Santschi, Pulaski; a son, Ernest, Maryland; a brother, Harold Mowers, Newark Valley; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A daughter, Beverly J. Landers; seven brothers, Willie, Dewey, Alfonzo, Orlando, Oakley, George Jr. and John Mowers; and three sisters, Mamie Davis, Myrtle Mowers and Irene Woolsey, died before her.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pulaski Cemetery with the Rev. Betsy Mowry officiating. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with Summerville Funeral Home.
