- Newspaper Obituary - June 22, 2011 The Post-Standard - Syracuse, New York - Larry T. Wilder, 65, of Sandy Creek, died Friday at University Hospital, Syracuse, New York. He was born in Watertown, son of the late Robert and Venita Skinner Wilder. He was a member of St. James Episcopal Church of Pulaski, where he was senior warden and Lay leader. He was the former owner and operator of Clearview Home and Leisure of Oswego. Larry enjoyed spending time fishing and hunting at his camp in Tupper Lake. Surviving are his wife of 44 years, the former Ann M. Vandish Wilder; four sons, Patrick T. Wilder, Oswego, Richard A. Wilder, Pulaski, Brian C. Wilder, Sandy Creek, Robert E. "Ted" Wilder, Palermo; two grandchildren, Collin Wilder, Kelsey Wilder; two brothers, James Wilder, Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Joseph Wilder, Rochester; three sisters, Valerie Hellinger, New Hampshire, Joan Spink, Pulaski; twin sister, Linda Wilder, Syracuse. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 25, 2011, from 2 to 7 p.m. at Larry's son, Patrick Wilder's home at 95 Regan Drive, Oswego, New York. Arrangements are in care of Harter Funeral Home, Mexico, New York. Contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Regional Oncology Center at Upstate Hospital.
