    • Newpaper Article - December 21, 1945 Eagle Bulletin - Fayetteville, New York - Miss Baumgartner Becomes Bride Of Edgar S. Stewart - Pompey Center - The wedding of Miss Minyon M. Baumgartner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph C. Baumgartner of Pompey Center to Edgar W. Stewart, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Stewart of Fabius took place Dec. 1 at the brides home. Rev. F. Richard Eaton of Pompey, performing the ceremony before an archway of holiday greens, silver bells and pompoms. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore her mother's wedding gown of white crepe, meatior and marquisette trimmed in seed pearls, and carried an arm bouquet of pink rose buds and baby mums. Miss Peggy Cunningham of Canastota, the bridesmaid was attired in a pink marquisete gown made smiliar to the bride's, and carried a pink bouquet of roses and mums, Mr. James Stewart, brother of the groom, was best man. The bride chose for her going away costume a dressmakers suit of light blue and wore a brown top coat with brown accessories, and wore a corsage of pink roses. A reception at the bride's home was held after the ceremony, about 50 guests being present. After a trip to points South and West, the couple will be at home in their apartment on the Pompey Center Fabius road. The bride had been employed in the office of the Precision Castings Co. Fayetteville plant, and is a graduate of the Manlius and Cazenovia high schools. The groom is a graduate of Fabius high school, and has recently been discharged from the Army after serving 4 1/2 years in the Pacific area.

Stewart; two daughters, Sharon Flannery and Darlene Yager; three sons, Joseph, David and Robert Stewart; a brother, Joseph Baumgartner; 12 grandchildren; two great grandchildren. Services Saturday 11 a.m. Newell Fay Funeral Home, Manlius, Rev. Donald W. Rush officiating. Burial White Chapel Memory Gardens, Dewitt. Calling hours Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Manlius Ambulance Fund.
