Newspaper Article - Thursday, October 12, 1876 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Editor Democrat, We were invited out to a wedding, and we went. Time: Thursday evening, the 5th, instant; Place: at the house of our genial friend, David Trumbull; Parties: Mr. William D. Blount, of Orwell, to Miss Julia A. Trumbull, of this town. The goodly company were seated at the long, extended tables, richly laden. The parties came from an adjoining room to places prepared at the tables. The minister arose, and in a few words said, "Husband and Wife." "Amen," we thought, if we did not say it. And, now we lifted the table saber up against the more than palatable oysters and other good things abundant. The elder Blount, William's, father, could not wait for supper over, but came along up and stole the first kiss. But, "I tell you," those grapes and other fruits were delicious. A pleasant, merry evening was spent, and the guests retired, leaving much joy to William and Julia, the newly married pair. Yours, Jo Cose, Pulaski, October 6th, 1876.
