    • Newspaper Obituary - Monday, December 9, 1929 Wilkes Barre Record - The Late Mrs. Ann Kinney - Miner's Mills lost and esteemed and well known resident on Friday in the death of Mrs. Ann Kinney at her home, East Thomas street, Miner's Mills. Death followed an illness of pneumonia. Mrs. Kinney was a woman of devout Christian character and possessed many splendid traits which endeared her to a wide circle of friends. She was a devout member of Blessed Sacrament church, Miner's Mills, and was active in all church affairs. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. William Mattick, Miner's Mills; Frank, Mary and Thomas, the latter an employee of the Times-Leader composing room; also five sisters, Mrs. Edward Kennedy of Plymouth; Mrs. John Hartman, city; Mrs. Felix McCabe, Miner's Mills; Mrs. Bridget Kinney, Newark, N.J., and Mrs. Mary Fleming, New York City, and a brother Frank Fleming of Scranton. The funeral will be held from the late home, East Thomas street, Miner's Mills, on Tuesday morning at 9. A high mass of requiem will be celebrated in Blessed Sacrament church, Miner's Mills, at 9:30. Interment will be in St. Mary's cemetery at Hanover.
