    • Newspaper Article - Wednesday, October 17, 1894 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Personal - We learn that Mr. F. E. Jones, of the law firm of King & Jones, is in Hamilton, Ontario, today, on a very happy mission. He is to be united in marriage with the charming Miss Martha Woods, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Woods of that city. We heartily congratulate these were the young people in advance, wishing them all the happiness ever accorded to the well mated.

Newspaper Article - Wednesday, October 24, 1894 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - A Pretty Home Wedding - The following paragraph is taken from the Hamilton Evening Times, of Ontario, October 17, 1894: "A very pretty wedding took place this afternoon at 4 o'clock at 93 Charles Street, the residence of Mr. J. C. Woods, the bride's father, when Frank E. Jones, of Buffalo, was united in marriage to Miss Martie C., eldest daughter of Mr. Woods. Mr. Norman S. Bentley, of Pulaski, New York, a cousin of the bride, assisted the groom, while Miss Mamie B. Woods performed the duties of bridesmaid. The maid of honor was Miss Anne L. Woods. Rev. J. V. Smith, pastor of the Centenary church, performed the ceremony. Only the near relatives of the interested parties were present. From Pulaski were present Master Claude Jones, a brother of the groom, W. H. Bentley, Norman S Bentley and Miss Carrie W. Bentley; from London, Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Woods and son; from Beautford, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert W. Knight. The bride and groom left on the 6:40 p.m. train for Eastern cities via Buffalo." The Democrat and its Pulaski readers regret that Mr. Jones, whom we regard as a Pulaskian, has decided to leave us, but we extend hearty congratulations and wish the newly married great joy and success.
