- Newspaper Obituary - Saturday, August 4, 1984 Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Richland - Joseph Alberie Saucier, 48, of Richland, died Friday in Mercy Hospital, Watertown. Born September 25, 1935 in Bake Brook, New Brunswick, Canada, He was the son of Joseph and Elizabeth Soucy Saucier. Mr. Saucier came to the United States in 1952 and married Barbara J. Bovay on November 21, 1958 in Fulton. They lived in Fulton and Cleveland and for the past 10 years in Richland. He was employed at the Carrier Corp. in Syracuse for the past 24 years. He was a member of the Richland Recreation Association and the Richland Volunteer Fire Department. Surviving besides his wife are two daughters, Mrs. Timothy (Cathryn) Martin of Orwell and Mrs. Mark (Lisa) Coffin of Lacona; three grandsons and four sisters, Leone Barry of Bristol, Connecticut, Gertrude Morewalt of East Millenocket, Maine and Rose Morin and Althina Nadeau both of Baker Lake, Canada; four brothers, Joseph of Richland, Paul of Millenocket, Albenny of New Britain, Connecticut, and Henry Saucier of Bristol, Connecticut and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held Tuesday at 10 am. from the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski, where Rev. Anthony Keeffe, pastor of St. John Evangelist Church, will officiate. Calling hours are Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Contributions may be made to the Hamlet Recreation Association Children's Park in care of Eileene Skotnicki, Richland, New York 13144.
