Lloyd W. White, age 59, resident of Pulaski since 2015, formerly of Eatonton, GA, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, at his home. Lloyd was born March 22, 1959 in Maryland, the son of Donald and Barbara Stevens White. He graduated from Pulaski High School in 1978. Lloyd served in the United States Army from 1980 until 2002, during that time he served seven tours of duty overseas. His last civilian employment was with Upstate Mechanical for several years. Lloyd was a member of the Robert Edwards Post #358 American Legion in Pulaski. He also enjoyed scuba diving and liked collecting various things. He was an avid sports fan, his favorite teams included the Indianapolis Colts, NY Yankee's and SU Orange Basketball.
Surviving are his mother Barbara White of Pulaski, three sisters, Sandra (Mark) Greenwood of Vernon, Donna (Robert) Phillips Jr., of Pulaski and Wendy (Michael) Chavarria of Pulaski, three brothers, Eric White of Pulaski, Brian White of St. Augustine, FL and Matthew White of Phoenix, AZ.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 10th at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski with burial in Pulaski Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. prior to the funeral.
