- Watertown- Thomas V. Towles, 48, Gale St., Watertown, passed away Monday March 2nd in the emergency room at University Hospital, Syracuse.
Calling hours are Friday, March 6th from 3 pm - 7 pm at the Carpenter-Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville, with a Celebration of Life to follow at 7 pm. Spring burial will be in Adams Rural Cemetery, Adams. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Jefferson County, 1398 Gotham St., Watertown, NY 13601.
Thomas was born December 30, 1966 in Watertown, a son to the late Ralph and Lavina “Lee” Leween Towles. He was educated in So. Jefferson Schools. Thomas was the art designer for Cozzi Monument in Watertown for 20 years, a position he currently held at the time of his passing.
Thomas enjoyed golfing, camping, gardening and playing horseshoes and was fan of the NFL Chicago Bears. He was a handyman to family and friends and enjoyed his time with them.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Lori (Ernie) Mustizer, Adams Center; Rick (Judy) Towles, Jody (Erin) Towles, all of Adams; Terry Lalone, Adams Center. Many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; two half-sisters, Lena (Ronny) McBride, Pillar Point; Sandra (Harley) McConnell, Theresa. Two step-children, Justin and Alexis Townsend, both of Watertown.
Thomas was predeceased by a brother Randy Towles and a nephew, David Towles.
