French, 69, of Springbrook Apartments, who died late Saturday evening, May 16, in Oswego Hospital, were at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 7385 Park Street, Pulaski, the Rev. Dolan Morris officiating. Burial was Cemetery in Richland. She was born August 13, 1912, in Parish to Herbert and Alma Smith Dawley and was educated in schools there. She married Louis R. French in 1929, and they lived in the Mexico-Pulaski area all their married lives. She retired from the Birdseye Corp. in Fulton after 23 years of service. Surviving are her husband, Louis; a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Giovo of Gulf Port, Florida, a son, Louis H. French of Mexico; two sisters, Mrs. Doris Mangus of Hastings and Ruth Green of Whitesboro; two brothers, Louis Dawley of Renshaw and Winfred Dawley of Kirkville; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
