Mowry, a brother of the late Albert H. Mowry, died suddenly at the New York Central shops about 10 o'clock this morning. Mr. Mowry was employed in the stock room and several fellow employees saw him suddenly fall to the ground. He was taken to the emergency hospital where he died a few minutes later. Dr. Bulger was called and he notified Coroner Vewinkel. DaM and Son took the body to the family residence, 31 Varick street. Mr. Mowry left his home about 9:30 o'clock this morning and was in good health. In the opinion of Coroner Vewinkel, death was caused by heart disease. The deceased was born in Richland, about sixty-five years ago and had lived in Oswego for a number of years. For a long period he was superintendent of the dairy department at the Kingsford Farms. For the last two years he had been employed at the shops. Surviving are one daughter, Miss Eva Mowry; one brother, Oliver B. Mowry; and one sister, Minetta Everts of Alberta, Canada. Interment will be at Daysville. Mr. Mowry's large number of friends will be shocked to learn of his death. Of quiet disposition, unassuming manners, pleasant and amiable, he held the respect and esteem of all who knew him.
