    • Newspaper Obituary - Saturday, July 27, 1968 Utica Press - R. S. Young Town Officer - Fairfield - Ralph S. Young, 53, of Fairfield, died July 26 at Little Falls Hospital. Mr. Young was Superintendent of Highways from the Town of Fairfield for the past 26 years. He was born in Fairfield, the son of John and Flora Bishop Young. He was married to Mabel Horr Court in 1930 at Little Falls. He was a member of the Middle Methodist Church, Newport Lodge F&AM, Ziyara Temple of Utica, the West Canada Creek Grange, West Canada, Mill Creek and the West Creek Fish and Games Clubs. Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Mrs. Edward (Virginia) Maxwell, Livingston, Manor; two sons, Harold Court, Fairfield and Ronald Young of Tully, N.Y.; two sisters, Mrs. Jack (Dorothy) Dibble, Johnson, N.Y. and Mrs. Lewis (Edith) Goodman, Middleville. The funeral will be at 1 Monday from the Authenrith Funeral Home, Newport, and at 2 from the Middleville Methodist Church. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery. Calling hours are from 7 to 9 tongiht and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 tomorrow.
