Newspaper Obituary - Tuesday, October 23, 2001 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Olive E. Wallis, Worked At Diner ¬Olive E. Wallis, 84, of 152 Krebs Road, died Sunday at Seneca Hill Manor, Fulton. Mrs. Wallis was employed at Pulaski Diner for several years. She was a member of Fernwood United Methodist Church and the Pulaski chapter of Take Off Pounds Sensibly. Born October 17, 1917, in Williamstown, daughter of Charles and Zella Parish Twiss, she attended Pulaski schools. She married Samuel Wallis on December 24, 1932. He died July 23, 1994. She had lived in Colosse until 1942, when she moved to Pulaski. Surviving are two sons, George, Hastings, and Dick, Pulaski; three daughters, Marge Haynes, Hastings, Viola Skotniski, Pulaski, and Myrtle Winklestine, Mexico; a sister, Reva Marion Hubbard, Dugway; two stepsisters, Myrtle Craw, Fulton, and Lu Esposito, Syracuse; 31 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren and several great-great- grandchildren. A son, Wayne, died in 1999. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at South Richland Cemetery, Fernwood, with the Rev. Donald Wiltse officiating. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are with Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
