Wilder, 65 - Pulaski January 26 - William M. Wilder, for many years a leading manufacturer and business man of Pulaski, died suddenly at his home in Park Street shortly after five Friday evening. While he had suffered recently from heart trouble, few of his friends realized that his condition was serious and his death comes as a shock to the entire community. He had eaten his supper Friday evening in apparent good health and his wife and son, Dale, were in the kitchen when they heard him fall. He was dying when they reached him and although Dr. A. G. Dunbar was called, he passed away within a few minutes. Mr. Wilder was born in Centerville 65 years ago and was the son of Charles and Cora Minot Wilder. In his early years he was engaged in farming and later conducted a grocery store. About 30 years ago he engaged in the lumber business and for many years had conducted a mill in Maple Avenue. He had been prominent in village affairs for many years and was a member of the official board of the Methodist Episcopal Church. Forty-five years ago he was married to Mira Erskine, who survives, with two sons, Dale Wilder of Pulaski and Tracy Wilder of Syracuse; four grandchildren and two brothers, Charles D. and Thomas Wilder of Pulaski. Members of the local lodge of Odd Fellows with which Mr. Wilder was affiliated also, are asked to meet at the temple at 1 p.m. Monday to join in the funeral services.
