      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, March 30, 1927 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mrs. Harry A. Burr - Following an illness covering several months, Mrs. Harry A. Burr, died at her home, north of this village, Friday afternoon. Orrissa J. Babcock, daughter of Mr. D. L. Babcock was born in Lacona, September 13, 1895. When she was a young girl her parents moved to this village where she spent her girlhood and received her education in Pulaski school. November 29, 1911, she was united in marriage with Mr. Harry A. Burr. They have lived in and about Pulaski through their married life. Mrs. Burr was a devoted wife and mother. She was a member of Celia Dewey Seamans Tent, Daughters of Civil War Veterans; Pulaski Grange and Hinman District Home Bureau. Surviving beside her husband, are her father, two children, Frank and Marion Burr; two sisters, Mrs. Yates Mahaffey of Pulaski and Mrs. Jasper Cleveland, one brother, Myers Babcock, of Pulaski. Services were conducted Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home of Miss Harriet Burr, Mr. Burr's sister, 7 James Street, by Rev. L. H. Palmer, pastor of the Congregational Church of this village. A delegation of Mrs. Burr's sisters of Celia Dewey Seamans Tent attended in a body. Burial was made in Pulaski Cemetery.
