Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, April 27, 1938 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Self Administered Potion Ends Life of Former Pulaski Man - Said to have been driven by desperation by ill health and financial troubles, Harry Burr, formerly of this village, died from a deadly potion self-administered at his farm near Ellisburg about nine o'clock last Saturday night News of the tragedy reached relatives and friends in this village soon after the fatality as a distinct shock. Mr. Burr was born here May 25, 1887, a son of Adelbert and Maria Valentine Burr, and was a former employee of the Charles Tollner Box Works and the Niagara, Lockport & Ontario Power Company. Late years he has operated farms in Lacona, Adams and Ellisburg.
