He was a farmer, and they settled at Camillus, where they were living in 1857. They had four children, born at Camillus: Curtis, b. 29 July, 1847 ; Thompson and Jane Anne (twins), b. Oct., 1850 ; and Francis, b. 20 Jan., 1854.
      2. Darius Ladd, b. 24 June, 1827, at Belle Isle. He m. 4 July, 1849, Theodosiah C. Smith, b. 19 Nov., 1832, at Cicero, N. Y., daughter of William Smith and .Mary Hart. They were living at Belle Isle in 1857, and had two children : Wealthy Ann, b. 5 May, 1851, at Taylorville, 111.; and Clarissa E., b. 19 Nov., 1854, at Belle Isle.

They were living at Camillus in 1857, and were about to leave for Kansas, and had one child, Lawrence Greely, b. 19 July, 1856.

She m. 27 Nov., 1785, James Armstrong, b. 5 Sept., 1754, at Norwich, youngest son of Hopestill Armstrong and Rebecca Hurkee. (See No. 384). He was a farmer, and they settled at Franklin, where he d. 17 Nov., 1829, and she d. 9 May, 1849.
