  George Nye Atwood - November 16, 1863 - October 29, 1922. Son of Thomas R. and Mary Alida Kellogg Atwood. Husband of Laura A. Castor Atwood. Newspaper Obituary - November 8, 1922 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Fernwood - Our community was shocked by the sudden death of Mr. G. Nye Atwood, which occurred on the 29th. His whole life has been spent among us and although he was not well, no one realized his real condition as he attended to his business and only gave up his work for two days. He was a good obliging neighbor, a good citizen, a kind and loving father and a member of Daysville Grange. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Willis L. Manwarren and Miss Esther V. Atwood, both of Syracuse. The funeral service was held at his late home, October 31 and attended by many of his friends and neighbors, conducted by Rev. MacLeod of Pulaski. Interment at Willis cemetery.
