    • Craig D. Barker, aged 45, longtime resident of Parish, Altmar and Pulaski, passed away Saturday at his home. Craig was born March 12, 1969 in Watertown, the son of Clinton Barker Jr. and Nancy Davidson. He graduated from APW High School in 1987. Craig married Sylvia Garcia on July 12, 2000. He was employed by the Fulton Companies for 17 years.

      Those who knew Craig knew what kind of a man he was, honest, hardworking, a hunter, a warrior and the bravest man I knew. His greatest pride and joy were his two boys. He is my hero--- Sylvia

      Surviving are his wife, Sylvia A.; two sons, Jordan Barker of Eielson Air Force Base in Fairbanks, Alaska and Ty Barker of Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama; two stepsons, Travis Halstead of Hawaii and Kyle Halstead of Potsdam; his mother, Nancy Davidson; two brothers, Robert Davidson of Central Square and Shaun Barker of Camden; three sisters, Rachael Pelow of Mexico, Nikki Rahn of Florida, and Marsha Sottung of Virginia. Craig was predeceased by his stepfather, Earl Davidson who passed away August 7, 2009.

      Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, November 6, at the Foster- Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street in Pulaski with a burial at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. prior to the funeral.
