      Newspaper Article - Wednesday, February 25, 1903 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Hutchins - Orton - At the home of the bride's parents in Richland, February 18, Miss Lydia M. Orton was married to Clayton W. Hutchins, of Pulaski. The ceremony was performed at 4 o'clock, with Rev. W. H. Seed officiating. Mrs. Kenyon played the wedding march. Miss Mary Hutchins, ofFernwood, acted as bridesmaid, and Mr. Frank Lacy, of Fernwood, was best man.

    • Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, August 31, 1944 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Clayton M. Hutchins Dies at Mannsville - Clayton M. Hutchins, 65, died Saturday, August 26, after an illness of several years. He formerly resided in Watertown. He was born at Dugway, August 8, 1879, a son of the late Ira F. and Sarah M. Hutchins. He was educated in the schools of Albion and Pulaski. He began work for the New York Central as brakeman in October, 1903 and in April, 1907 was made a conductor, continuing in that capacity until he retired on account of poor health June 7, 1941. February 18, 1903, he married Miss Lydia M. Orton who survives, together with one son, Pfc. Gerald 0. Hutchins who is now with the armed forces in the Southwest Pacific; one sister, Mrs. Jesse Burdick of Pulaski and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Hutchins was a member of Mannsville Methodist church and was a 32nd degree Mason and Shriner. Funeral services were held from the Hutchins home in North Main street, Mannsville. Burial was in the family lot at Richland.
