- Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, April 23, 1913 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Molino - Jane Wood, who has lived with her daughter, Mrs. Alonzo Hilton, in this place for over twenty years, died Thursday, April 17, at 1:30 o'clock, age 92 years, 1 month and 10 days. She had always been a very healthy woman but she had a very hard cold and Bright’s disease set in and caused her death. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Gilbert Stewart, of Richland and Mrs. Eli Marble of Weston, Vermont; Mrs. Fred Piper of Pierrepont Manor, and Mrs. Alonzo Hilton; besides ten grandchildren and a large number of great grandchildren. The funeral was held at the M. E. church at Richland, Sunday at 3 o'clock, W. D. Clement, of Lacona officiating. Burial was made in Richland cemetery by the side of her husband. Those from out of town to attend the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Piper, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Piper, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Scram and Ray Piper, of Pierrepont Manor.
Mrs. Jane Wood died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alonzo Hilton, Thursday, April 17, after a short illness, aged ninety-two years. The funeral services were conducted by Walter Clement, Sunday afternoon and burial made at Richland.
