    • Newspaper Obituary - Friday, March 27, 1931 Oswego Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Vicinity Obituary - James Johnson - Parish - March 27 - Services for James A. Johnson, 62, who died Wednesday, will be held at the family home in Scriba at 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon and in West Amboy Methodist Episcopal church at 2:30 o'clock. Burial will be in West Amboy cemetery. Born in Parish, Mr. Johnson was a son of George and Mary Davis Johnson. He had been a farmer at Scriba about 20 years. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Phoebe Turmbull Johnson; four sons, Raymond, Frank and Albert Johnson of Scriba and Charles Johnson of Toledo, O.; four daughters, Mrs. Clara Rehor of Watertown, Mrs. Cora Bailey of Scriba and Mrs. Julia Callen and Mrs. Genevieve King of Syracuse; two brothers Irving Johnson of Parish and LeRoy Johnson of Oswego; a sister, Mrs. Evangeline Bulson of Parish, and 10 grandchildren.
