    • Lillian Echo Saunders Lovelady Patterson, 91, went to be with Jesus November 11, 2001 in Carrollton. Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home will conduct graveside services 1:00 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 16, 2011 at Llano Cemetery in Amarillo. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:00 pm prior to the service Wednesday.

      Lillian was born April 15, 1920 in Dow, Oklahoma to Kenneth P. and Pearl L. Martin Saunders. Lillian graduated in 1938 from Norman High School in Norman, Oklahoma. She graduated from The Comptometer School of Oklahoma City in 1942 and then worked for the Santa Fe Railroad for 30+ years until her retirement.

      Lillian was a loving Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Friend, and will be missed by all who knew her. She enjoyed reading, gardening and visiting with her neighbors. Her favorite flower was the ‘Peace Rose'. She is a member of The First Baptist Church of Paris.

      The family wishes to thank Heritage Gardens Healthcare and Custom Care Hospice for all the loving care they provided over the last two years.

      Preceded in death by two husbands, Robert L. Lovelady and Chancey Patterson, a brother Kenneth, and two sisters, Narcissa Chapman and Roberta White.

      Survivors include a son, Kenneth Lovelady of Flower Mound, TX, a stepson James Lovelady of Stigler, Ok, three grandchildren, Brent Lovelady of North Richland Hills, TX, Brian Lovelady of Little Elm, TX, Tosha Hoefoert of Corinth, TX , six great-grandchildren and a sister Helen Blackmon of San Antonio.
