Newspaper Obituary - Saturday, September 13, 1930 Oswego Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Mexico, September 13 - George H. Perry, 77, one of the most highly respected and beloved citizens of this community, died suddenly at his home in Mapleview Friday evening, September 12. Mr. Perry was a lifelong resident of Oswego County, having been born in Richland, December 18, 1852, son of the late Thomas and Ann Thomas Perry. He resided for some time in Fernwood and was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church there. He was also a member of the South Richland grange. Mr. Perry is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Fred Harvey, Mapleview, with whom he lived for the past few years; one brother, Walter Perry of Washington, D. C., and one sister, Mrs. Fred Winner of Fernwood. Funeral services will be conducted at the home of his daughter in Mapleview Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock with burial in Willis cemetery.
