Newspaper Obituary - Monday, March 16, 1981 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mrs. Catherine M. Bailey, 56. of 7892 Hinman Road, widow of David W. Bailey, died Friday morning, March 6, at her home. The funeral was at 11 a.m. Monday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, with Rev. Dolen Morris, pastor of Park United Methodist Church, officiating. Spring burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Karen Hotalling, Ormond Beach, Florida; a son, Richard D., Pulaski; three grandchildren; two brothers, Robert L. Sweatland, Pulaski and Ray A. Sweatland, Central Square, and a sister, Mrs. Charles (Edna) Wilcox, Sandy Creek. Born May 1, 1924, at Westdale, a daughter of Ray and Lillian Green Sweatland, she was graduated from Pulaski Academy and was married to David W. Bailey March 3, 1951. Mr. Bailey, an employee of the Pulaski Department of Public Works and the Camden Wire Mill, died May 18, 1975, at age 58. A life resident of the Pulaski section, Mrs. Bailey had been librarian at the Pulaski Public Library for the past nine years.
