- Syracuse Herald Journal, 7 July 2000: MELVIN B. SPENCER Melvin B. Spencer, 59, of 80 Spencer Road, Pulaski, died Wednesday at Oswego Hospital. Born in Pulaski, he was a 1960 graduate of Altmar-Parish-Williamstown High School. He was a rural mail carrier with the Pulaski post office for 20 years, and he owned and operated a farm for 40 years. Survivors: His wife, the former Marleen Morrell; a daughter, Kristine Lachut of Star Lake; a son, Scott M. of Pulaski; a stepdaughter, Kristina Cooper of Oswego; a stepson, Charles E. Cooper of Fulton; his mother, Arestine Spencer of Pulaski; two grandchildren. Services:... Saturday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Burial Maple Lawn Cemetery, Dugway.
