Kenneth A. O’Donnell March 9, 2007
Kenneth A. O’Donnell, age 71, of Orwell, died Friday at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse. He was born on September 18, 1935 in Lowville, the son of Carlton and Dorothy Sheldon O’Donnell. He resided in Orwell since 1997 and previously lived in Altmar for 45 years. He owned and operated the Altmar Smoke House from 1979 to 1997 and also did stone work for the past several years. Kenneth was a past member of the Altmar Defiance Department and past member of the Pulaski Masonic Lodge.
Surviving: four daughters, Christine A. O’Donnell of West Monroe, Lynne N. Johnson of Orwell, Sandra l. O’Donnell of Syracuse, Tracy S. Sweeney of Parish; one son, Michael J. O’Donnell of Orwell; three brothers, Timothy of Castorland, Terry of Parish and Casey of Pulaski; one sister, Pamela LaLone of Watertown; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Monday at the Foster- Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski, with spring burial in Riverside Cemetery, Altmar. Calling hours will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. prior to the funeral service.
Donations can be made to Oswego County Opportunities or Oswego County Hospice.

Kenneth A. O’Donnell, 71, Orwell, died Friday at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse.
Mr. O’Donnell owned and operated Altmar Smoke House from 1979 to 1997 and also did stone work for the past several years.
Born Sept. 18, 1935, in Lowville, son of Carlton and Dorothy Sheldon O’Donnell, he had resided in Orwell since 1997 and previously lived in Altmar for 45 years.
A marriage ended in divorce.
He was a past member of Altmar Defiance Fire Department and Pulaski Masonic Lodge.
Surviving are four daughters, Christine A. O’Donnell, West Monroe, Lynne N. Johnson, Orwell, Sandra L. O’Donnell, Syracuse, and Tracy S. Sweeney, Parish; a son, Michael J., Orwell; three brothers, Timothy, Castorland, Terry, Parish, and Casey, Pulaski; a sister, Pamela LaLone, Watertown; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 6 p.m. Monday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski. Spring burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Altmar.
